2026 is the Year of the Horse and since the horse is also Pinato Craft's mascot, it felt only right to start the year with something a little special ⭐ A kit filled with cozy, joyful stationery goodies designed to bring a touch of good luck to your journal, scrapbook, or wherever your creativity likes to wander.

Growing up, Lunar New Year was one of my favourite times of the year. As kids, of course we loved the red pocket money; but more than that, it was about shared meals, gathering with friends and family, and reconnecting with relatives you hadn’t seen since the year before - catching up on a year’s worth of stories.

Alongside all the memory-making came the endless list of do’s and don’ts:
don’t cut your hair, don’t throw out the trash, eat fish, shower the day before New Year etc etc Oh and don't forget to greet people with the endless list of blessings you've rehearsed (especially if you were hoping for a red pocket envelope). All of this in the hope of happiness, wealth, and good health for you and your community.

Despite loving the traditions, in a tiny act of rebellion (a gentle one), the motto of this collection is quite the opposite:  “Born to be lucky.” Whether we feel it or not, this lil affirmation does wonders to our brain and may we all feel lucky this year ✨
